Rally for Change is City Market's community giving program. Every time you check out, you can choose to round up your total to the nearest dollar — and those collective cents add up. Since 2014, shoppers have raised over $2 million for local organizations working to strengthen our community.
How It Works
Each month, we support Feeding Champlain Valley and other organizations working to strengthen our community. With thousands of transactions each day across both stores, we all can rally for community-wide change.

Feeding Champlain Valley
Feeding Champlain Valley is the largest direct service emergency food provider in Vermont and a program of the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) that serves 14,500 people annually through food access programs.

DREAM's is mission is to close the opportunity gap for children and teens through deep community collaboration and sustained mentoring relationships.

King Street Center
For 55 years, King Street Center has empowered youth to explore their talents and find their voice through learning, play, and opportunity. Serving children from 18 months to 18 years old and their families, King Street Center provides early childhood education, K-12 afterschool and summer programming, mentoring, teen Academic & Career Exploration, and wraparound family support services. Located in downtown Burlington, the organization serves nearly 200 youth annually and reaches more than 400 community members through whole-family, culturally responsive support. By creating spaces of belonging, connection, and opportunity, King Street Center helps young people build confidence, discover their potential, and thrive.
