Rally for Change is City Market's community giving program. Every time you check out, you can choose to round up your total to the nearest dollar — and those collective cents add up. Since 2014, shoppers have raised over $2 million for local organizations working to strengthen our community.
How It Works
Each month, we support Feeding Champlain Valley and other organizations working to strengthen our community. With thousands of transactions each day across both stores, we all can rally for community-wide change.

Kidpower Vermont
Kidpower Vermont coaches adults, teens, and children so that they have skills to prevent and stop sexual abuse, bullying, and other forms of harm. In our workshops, participants learn and practice simple, effective techniques for setting boundaries, keeping themselves safe, and building positive relationships. We use demos, role plays, and group activities to teach and practice applying safety skills — so that participants can use the skills right away. Adult caregivers and educators learn and practice how to teach and continue developing the skills with the young people in their lives.

UVM Children's Hospital Food Security Action Team
Every child deserves the chance to grow, thrive, and heal. Golisano Children’s Hospital at University of Vermont Health’s Food Security Action Team connects families with nutritious food and vital resources, helping remove barriers to healthy development. By addressing food security as a part of healthcare, we are strengthening families, improving health outcomes, and building a brighter future for our community.

Age Well
Age Well is a nonprofit organization that serves Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle Counties. Our mission is to empower and support individuals as they age by providing community connection and access to services. Since 1974 Age Well has provided older Vermonters the necessary support to manage their daily living needs to keep them active, healthy, independent, and at home, where most wish to be. We offer nutritious meals, care coordination, wellness programs, transportation, Medicare counseling, and vital support for caregivers. All to achieve a vision where aging in our community is supported and valued.
