Social Media Conduct Policy
The City Market Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter pages are a fun way for you to connect and interact with your Co-op and fellow co-operators. We love having customers, community members, partners, vendors, local producers, and fans talking with us on social media. That being said, please note that posts posted by anyone other than “City Market” are not necessarily representative of the views and opinions of City Market, Onion River Co-op, and we cannot confirm their accuracy.
City Market expects those interacting with this page to not post content falling into the following categories, and the Co-op reserves the right to remove postings that are:
- abusive, defamatory, or obscene
- racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise discriminatory
- fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
- in violation of any intellectual property right of another individual
- in violation of any law or regulation
- considered spam (e.g. include links to external sites considered spam or repeatedly posting the same content repeatedly in a short period of time)
- otherwise inappropriate
Anyone repeatedly posting material that falls into the above categories will be reported and banned from engaging with us on our social media platforms.
From time to time, we may elect to turn off the ability to comment on our posts. We recognize that social media is not always the best place for productive exchanges and want to foster the best communication with our team, members, and community. During these times, we encourage people to reach out directly to us at info@citymarket.coop.
