Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion
1 clove garlic
24 ounces tomato puree
1 1⁄2 teaspoons oregano, dried
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
black pepper
Instructions
Sauté onion in olive oil until golden, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute more. Add pureed tomatoes and spices and cook, uncovered, for about 15 minutes.
