You Asked - We Listened! EV Charging Station Access

It's a familiar - and frustrating - experience for many of our Members: You come into City Market to shop and would like to take advantage of our EV chargers, only to find that one person has plugged in and left the store for hours. We've heard this frustration, and we're taking steps to address it - and creating a brand-new Member benefit in the process.

Starting August 1, you will be able to enter your Member Number in the ChargePoint app when you use our ChargePoint EV charging stations at both stores. When you do, you will unlock 2 hours of free charging. After your 2 hours is up, you'll be charged $2.77/hr for charging.

Not a Member? You can still use our EV charging stations. You'll be charged $2.77/hr for your first 2 hours, and $4.77/hr after that.

We hope that with these changes, folks will be less likely to leave their cars plugged in, thereby ensuring better access for our entire community. At the same time, Members will still enjoy free EV charging for up to 2 hours, enabling them to charge while they shop. This change better fits our goals for our EV charging stations, and enables more equitable, reliable access to EV charging for our Members.
