March Wines Under $10
March is looking like we'll be starting off with a little warmer weather, but it seems we'll still be seeing winter temperatures at least through the first week, so it's fitting that our "Wines for Under $10" are good choices to pair with warming foods.
We are featuring two reds from Le Grand Noir. The Pinot Noir is simple and clean, with a nose of red berries and plum, and flavors of earth, cherries, and black pepper. This wine pairs well with pretty much any meal and its lighter style won't overpower other flavors. The Grenache-Syrah-Mourvedre is a Rhone-style red with bell pepper, black olive, and subtle spices on the nose, and flavors of smoke and black cherry. This wine is a bit heavier and should be paired with steak, burgers, or sharp cheeses.
