Sierra Nevada Nooner Pils
Greetings again from beer, wine and cider land!

It’s been an exciting January so far here at City Market and it looks like things are about to get even busier with the return of all of the college students from winter break. With that in mind, I’d like to tell you about a couple of new things we’ve brought into the fold for your midwinter sipping pleasure. Sierra Nevada Brewing Company has recently released its mega-delicious Nooner Pils, a hoppy (it’s Sierra Nevada, after all) pilsner that is quite sessionable. They come in 12 packs of 12 oz cans, perfect for a day of football playoff viewing.

Champlain Orchards Cider
Champlain Orchards has also just released their new 4 packs of 16 oz cans of their amazing cider. Get ‘em while they’re hot (er…cold)! The other news I’d like to impart is that, back by popular demand, the Los Riscos Pinot Noir is here and on sale. With notes of blackberry and cherries, this inexpensive and fruity red compares well to its more expensive cousins and is an excellent choice for get-togethers with your friends.

Lastly, while many of you are well aware of our delivery days for Heady Topper and Lawson’s Sip o’ Sunshine, it always bears repeating, for this remains one of our most frequently asked questions. Heady Toppers are brought in by The Alchemist on Tuesdays usually around 11am, and Lawson’s drops their fine brew on Wednesdays around 10am.  While we don’t enforce any limits, we do ask that everyone be mindful so that everyone can enjoy some of these great beers.

Thanks everyone, and ‘til next week…cheers!    -jb.
