November Wine Picks for Under $10

Chalone Vineyard is a pioneer of the California wine industry and is the one-and-only winery in the Chalone AVA appellation. The Chalone AVA has a unique terroir. The soil contains granite and limestone and the area is very dry and sees large temperature fluctuations within a given day. Chalone Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are on sale in November, and they both pair nicely with Thanksgiving dinner. The Pinot Noir is boasting especially deep savings this month!

Chalone Monterey Chardonnay is bright and fruit-focused with a touch of sweet oak. Baked pear, crisp apple and sweet citrus aromas and flavors are accented by hints of baking spice. The crisp fruit flavors are complemented by just enough oak to lend structure and complexity. Chalone Monterey Pinot Noir has aromas of dried roses, ripe black cherries and a touch of tobacco. It is soft and silky with vibrant red raspberry flavors and a touch of spicy oak. These two classically Californian wines are sure to be holiday crowd pleasers!
