Eat Local Week, October 5-13

We are in the midst of Eat Local Week 2013!  Celebrate local food and farmers this week with great classes and events, and check out the 19 local restaurants that are serving a 100% local meal this week.  We had a great kick-off on Friday, October 4 at the ArtsRiot South End Truck Stop, a successful Member Meeting on Saturday, October 5, and a delicious Harvest Celebration on Sunday, October 6.  Coming up: Local School Lunch for Dinner, Cooking Close to Home Book Talk, Super Crop Mob, Harvest Fun Run/Walk for Sustainability, and a Fruit and Wine Fall Farm Tour.  Some events require pre-registration, so click on the links to sign up today, and get ready to get local!  For more information, visit the Eat Local Week website.
