The Winooski Farmers Market is a program of Downtown Winooski that seeks to increase access to fresh, locally produced food, provide opportunities for education and community engagement, and support local farmers and businesses through accessible marketplace opportunities. They welcome over 40 farm, prepared food, craft, and wellness vendors throughout the season with live music, kids activities, and special event days.

Job Summary

Volunteers help with set up and break down at the market, as well as daily market tasks. Throughout the season, there may be additional opportunities on event days.

  • 9am-11am- Morning Shift
    • Set up Music tent, signage, and parking cones
    • Clear market site of trash
    • Assist vendors as needed
    • Track market attendance
    • Help with transactions at market tent
    • Photograph market
  • 1pm-3pm- Afternoon Shift
    • Track market attendance
    • Photograph market
    • Help with product price reporting
    • Break down tents, signage, and parking cones
    • Assist vendors with breakdown as needed

Winter Market

Held at the Winooski Senior Center the Winooski Winter Market is held every Sunday from November 10 to December 29. Volunteers are needed from 8:30-9:30am for opening (moving tables, helping with vendor parking, etc) and an afternoon shift from 2:15-3:15pm (breaking down tables, sweeping and moping).
