Winooski Farmers Market
The Winooski Farmers Market is a program of Downtown Winooski that seeks to increase access to fresh, locally produced food, provide opportunities for education and community engagement, and support local farmers and businesses through accessible marketplace opportunities. They welcome over 40 farm, prepared food, craft, and wellness vendors throughout the season with live music, kids activities, and special event days.
Job Summary
Volunteering at the market is a great way to get involved and meet new people! There are weekly opportunities to help with market and vendor setup/takedown and transactions at the manager's tent. There are bi-weekly opportunities to help run a kids' activity for the Power of Produce club, and monthly opportunities to lend a hand with various tasks like taking photographs, filling in at the manager's booth, and helping with community activities on our special event days. There are also occasional opportunities to engage customers in a market survey.
