The Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont is a nonprofit association of farmers, gardeners, and consumers working to promote an economically viable and ecologically sound Vermont food system for the benefit of current and future generations. NOFA-VT is best known for its On-Farm Workshop Series, inspiring and educational Winter Conference, technical assistance for organic farmers and farmers' markets, the Farm Share Program, and farm-to-school activities that bring agricultural education and nutritious local food to kids.
Volunteer Opportunities
Your Member Work with NOFA-VT supports all of NOFA's important programs. Ongoing opportunities include:
- Administrative tasks and projects
- Mailing quarterly publications and other outreach materials
- Events (NOFA Winter Conference, Summer Pizza Socials, On-Farm Workshop series
- Photography
