November and December South End Member Artist: Errol Bibens

Errol Bibens, a glazier by trade, has lived in Burlington with his family for 17 years. He grew up in Manchester, VT but also spent time living in Boston, Brooklyn and Philadelphia before settling in Burlington to start a family. He is a self-taught artist and started drawing as a child because of his love of Popeye and Looney Tunes. In Brooklyn, he regularly painted restaurant windows. He now draws mostly in pencil and over the years has developed the cartoon style you see.
