My work has undergone many transformations, first finding wheel-throwing at the University of Vermont.  My work first started with practical forms like mugs and bowls, but finding myself getting antsy and a little limited with the forms I could make, I decided to try hand-building.

I work out of my garage with an electric kiln and a pottery wheel.  I use a small table, wood slabs, a roller and various other tools in my small studio.

I have been playing with ideas of how to display my ceramics on a wall, like a painting, and discovered the wall hangings I am working on now. I still love the natural look of the clay and try to exhibit and emphasize its beauty with use of stains and clear glaze.
