A fairy house. There is a horizontal stick, with a small ladder hanging down from the left end of it. On top of the stick are two sticks in a rectangular arch with a bow on the top. To the right are a few stacked beads, and to the right of that is a little door. The background is blueish gray.

Nature is Magic

Hiking and exploring the woods with her dog has allowed Liz to find beauty in the every day natural world, and to share that beauty with others. Picking up a pinecone here, and a piece of trash there, she hopes to make the world a more beautiful and habitable place. Using the bounty of nature she collects on her jaunts (but not the trash, that gets responsibly disposed of!), Liz uses a combination of creative techniques (sculpture, painting, clay work, wire wrapping, sewing, and more) to let nature reveal its secrets and tell her what it would like to be. Thus, a shell becomes a fairy bath, a pinecone a roof for a family of gnomes.

All materials are sustainably collected from the forest floor or recycled from her life or secondhand from shops or friends. Nothing is wasted, and everything is treasured and given new life with a pinch of magic and a healthy dose of loving care. Each piece is one of a kind and handmade from scratch.
