Emery joins City Market as an accomplished Grocery Operations Manager with a decade of experience in the grocery retail industry, specializing in inventory management and employee training. From the onset of his career as a part-time closing stock clerk, he demonstrated a natural affinity for organizing and optimizing inventory systems.
As a seasoned leader in the retail grocery industry, Emery understands that employees are the foundation of any successful organization. His commitment to developing highly skilled and motivated teams has driven his work throughout his career. He has worked to create pathways for advancement within organizations, leading a district-wide training initiative that oversaw the recruitment, training and development of new managers and specialists from within the organization. He is dedicated to creating and implementing comprehensive training programs that grow individual talents while fostering collaborative work environments.
Outside of work, Emery enjoys spending as much time outdoors as he possibly can in the wilds of Vermont. He is an avid hiker and backpacker. Emery is also an established photographer who specializes in street photography, astrophotography and portraiture.
