A Taste of Ethiopia and Eritrea: Yasa Tibs (fish stew) and Gomen (greens)

Join us for an evening of Eritrean cooking! We will learn how to make Mulu’s yasa tibs, a spicy fish stew, and gomen (a dish of stewed greens). We'll enjoy the meal with her fabulous injera, the fermented flatbread common to Ethiopian & Eritrean cuisine. This class will be taught by Mulu Tewelde, who came to Vermont from Eritrea in 2006 and enjoys sharing her knowledge and love of Eritrean and Ethiopian cooking.
This class will be held in the Community Room of the South End City Market. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or have been a COVID close contact.
