Tacos al Pastor—en español!

Back by popular demand!  Join us for another City Market Spanish-language cooking class, with instruction entirely in Spanish! We’ll make delicious Tacos al Pastor from scratch.  We will prepare the pork, make the traditional salsa, make hand-made tortillas, and prepare guacamole as well.  Our instructor, Alejandra, is from Querétaro, Mexico, about 3 hours from Mexico City. She lives in Vermont with her three young daughters and her husband, who works on a dairy farm. This class is made possible through a project called Huertas, a community-based food access project that facilitates the planting of kitchen gardens on rural dairy farms with Latino/migrant farm workers and their families. This class will be taught entirely in Spanish and is facilitated by Jessie Mazar, who works for Huertas.
