Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony

Coffee has deep roots in Ethiopian history. An ancient proverb in Ethiopia “Buna dabo naw” means “Coffee is our bread!” For a delicious and meaningful experience, join us for an Ethiopian coffee ceremony, led by Mulu Tewelde who is known for her Ethiopian and Eritrean cooking classes throughout the Burlington area. A traditional cultural and social event, an Ethiopian coffee ceremony is a celebration of hospitality and skillful roasting and preparation. Coffee will be served with the traditional accompaniments of bread, popcorn, and peanuts.
