An infusion is a drink prepared by allowing the leaves (or other parts) of a plant to soak in water, which draws vital phytochemicals from the plants much like steeping tea. This workshop will teach participants how to make blender-assisted infusions from a few common wild herbs. Chilled in the refrigerator and lightly sweetened with honey, these beverages are delightfully refreshing throughout the summer, nutritious and are easy to prepare. Eric Garza, leader of the Burlington chapter of the Weston. A Price Foundation and instructor at UVM and Green Mountain College will teach this course.
