The Vermont fall and winter seasons are beautiful, but they can also be a challenging time. According to Ayurveda, the Vata season is dry, cold, windy and rough. All of these attributes can contribute to the accumulation and agitation of the vata dosha (energy of movement) in our systems, and can result in our feeling dry, agitated, anxious and/or depressed.
