Tincture-Making
Thursday, August 15, 2013
10:00am - 11:30am
Tincture making is a way of preserving herbs used to promote health. Many people use tinctures and do not realize how incredibly feasible it is to make your own at home or right in the garden. Heather Irvine of Giving Tree Botanicals will fill the classroom with freshly harvested medicinal herbs and the simple tools needed to create potent tinctures. She will introduce you to the how, why and when of tincture making and enlist your help in performing the process several times from start to finish. After this class you will want to start your own tincture collection, or if you have made tinctures before you will better understand how to get great results.
