"Within Reach" Movie and Dinner

City Market is teaming up with Outdoor Gear Exchange and Have Your Cake Catering to offer a “Movie and Dinner” event to benefit the Intervale Center, a local non-profit organization working to build and strengthen community food systems.

We'll be showing Within Reach, a documentary about a couple’s bike trip around the country in search of a more sustainable way of life. The cyclists meet and chat with many influential and inspiring people throughout their trip, including Vermont’s own climate change activist, Bill McKibben.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12 at Main Street Landing Film House.  The movie will begin at 6 pm and a 100% local buffet dinner by Have Your Cake Catering will begin at 7:45 pm.  Tickets for the 100% local buffet dinner and the movie are $25 and tickets for just the movie are $5.  There will be free popcorn, as well as great raffle prizes, and all proceeds will benefit the Intervale Center.
