Dehydrating is a great way to preserve late summer fruits and vegetables like apples, pears, grapes, melons, tomatoes, kale, broccoli, herbs, and more! Using a dehydrator, Peter Burke will demonstrate how to dry fresh produce and we’ll have recipes for fruit leathers, soup bases, trail mixes, and more. Peter teaches gardening and food preservation classes throughout the year at co-ops across the state.
